The "Lakhpati Didi" initiative is a government scheme in India aimed at empowering women, particularly those associated with Self-Help Groups (SHGs), to achieve an annual household income of Rs. 1,00,000 or more through sustainable livelihood practices. The initiative, launched by the Ministry of Rural Development, focuses on supporting women's economic empowerment by providing access to credit, skill development, and financial literacy.
- The age of SHG Woman Member should be 18 years and above and up to 65 years.
- She should not be a defaulter of any bank / financial institution.
- She should be running a viable economic enterprise for which she has not availed a loan from any other Bank/FI for the said activity.
